What better way to maintain strength and flexibility than to have a public community yoga class?
Please join Melissa Terrels as she guides friends and fellow guild members every Wednesday morning from 11:30 – 12:35 (ish)pm before Portable Fibers Live! for a good stretch and strengthen yoga class.
If you are unsure about what we are offering, please come and sit through a class for free. It’s as much about community as it is about getting on and off the floor. All are welcome and variations of every pose will be given to make them accessible to all. The great thing about yoga is that even if you’ve been practicing for years, we (and you) are all still beginners. Everyone is welcome.
If you have a yoga mat, please bring it. If not, bring a beach towel. Props are supplied. Wear comfortable clothes that allow unrestricted movement.
A little bit about Melissa – I started practicing yoga in the early 1990’s. I started my teacher training in the late 1990’s and ended up with over 1500 hours of training in many modalities and a 3 year Comprehensive Yoga Therapy Certification from Yogalife Institute in King of Prussia. I have been teaching for over a decade, mostly one on one or very small classes. My style is inquisitive, and I teach to what I see in my students movements.
Your first class is free! Then $10 per class paid through Venmo or cash with a fee going back to the guild. All fees to be paid one month in advance.
Come check it out! The hardest part is showing up!
Walk ins also welcome, no need to sign up. Open to the public, bring a friend!
No class June 28 & July 5!!
