During this 3-hour workshop, participants will learn the basics of tapestry weaving including: starting and finishing a project, different weaving techniques, how to trouble shoot common errors, and more!
As part of the course, participants need a tapestry loom. We recommend you order the 10″ of THIS ONE or THIS ONE or feel free to bring your own.
You will also need yarn for your tapestry. We suggest you visit our supporters, Wild Hand in Mt. Airy or Weaverhouse in South Philly. Both have online options and Kelbourne Woolens is online only. Please purchase yarn you love and in as many shapes and sizes as you like. Experimentation is strongly suggested!
