A visit is open to every age and limited to a group size of nine people. Visitors can view the alpacas from the second level of our Pennsylvania bank barn, which opens into the pasture where the alpacas graze.
Visitors have the opportunity to hand feed the alpacas, learn about alpaca etiquette and of course learn about their glorious fleece, considered the finest natural fiber in the world!
Visitors can interact with the alpacas in the barn and outside in the pasture.
- Please plan on sturdy shoes, we do have mud as this is a working farm and while we work hard to keep everything clean and well maintained, we still have things you don’t want to step in!
- I have a barn where groups can interact with the alpacas while still in the pasture. The alpacas are quite gentle and love snacking on grain. you are welcome to feed them or not depending on your level of comfort.
- I have hand sanitizer and wipes for clean-up.
- Plan on spending 45 minutes to an hour with the alpacas.
Also, anyone is invited to set up their wheel and Spin anytime at any of my markets! I do Rittenhouse Farmers Market, More, and Bryn Mawr. Of course I would be delighted to give them some washed raw alpaca fleece for them to work with while they spin.
Registration is required and you need to bring $5.00 with you for payment!
