Have you ever been tempted by the wool barn at a fiber festival, but not known how to evaluate the multitude of fleeces outside of the judge’s picks? Do you have a fleece sitting in a bag somewhere, waiting to be scoured but been too nervous about ruining it?
Come join Marisa Smith, professional sheep shearer and PGHW member, for a session on evaluating fleeces, diagnosing problems and learning solutions for some of the common problems you’ll encounter in the process. We’ll also go over how to scour effectively and safely at home.
Members fee $40
