Members are invited to join us on Zoom for our April meeting:
Meet WEFT Magazine
Lisa Graves’ entire life changed the moment she threw her first shuttle – in that instant she knew there wasn’t anything else she ever wanted to do more. Ten years later, Lisa is an international handweaving instructor and spends most of her time learning everything she can about weaving and sharing that knowledge with her students. She owns Kawartha Weaving, a private weaving studio in Ontario, Canada.
Lisa is now the editor-in-chief of WEFT, a new weaving publication that launches this spring! WEFT will support, reflect, and teach the worldwide weaving community, inspire new weavers, and dig deep for the intermediate or advanced weaver.
In addition to giving members a sneak peak at WEFT, her talk will reflect on the broader landscape for fiber arts publishing in 2025.
Since Lisa lives in Canada, this meeting will be Zoom only. Feel free to share the link, as our monthly member meetings are now open to the public!
