Learn to Spin Yarn with PGHW member Jason Paris

Spinning encourages spatial reasoning skills and dexterity, and is a great way to incorporate more movement into your day. By the end of this class, you’ll be able to use a drop spindle efficiently enough to support your yarn endeavors.
This method was the fastest way to spin yarn for thousands of years, until the invention of spinning wheels. It’s an ancient craft!
Top-whorl spindles and plenty of wool will be available for use throughout the class, but feel free to bring your own spindles or fiber.
