Would you love to carry your favorite wine in your own handmade wine tote or give it as the perfect gift for a special friend? Then this class is for you! No experience is necessary. Students will learn to include a handle in the weave, square the bottom of the basket, twine, upstake, stop and start weaving while shaping the sides, and lashing on the rim. You can even add color to your basket if you choose. What is better than wine? Wine in a basket you made! This class is the perfect way to start, or continue, your weaving journey.
Not a wine drinker? No problem, this can also serve a utensil holder or anything else you can think of!
Moderate hand strength is required for this class.
All materials provided by the instructor.
