Teach with PGHW!

The Philadelphia Guild of Handweavers is always looking to add talented fiber arts instructors to our teaching roster. Whether you’re a full-time fiber artist or a weekend weaver who thrives in the classroom, we invite you to propose a workshop. Potential instructors need not be members to apply.

Once you submit your proposal, someone from the Guild will be in touch to discuss your idea.

Payments: PGHW offers a standard payscale of $50/hour of instruction time for courses with a single instructor, or $40/per instructor per hour of instruction time for co-taught courses, for courses with up to 4 students. Instructors receive bonus pay for each student enrolled over 4 students.

Please check out our Programs page for examples of current offerings.
