Looking for a new-to-you loom? Or a giant cone of chenille? We’ve got you covered! Stop by the Guild House between 11 and 4 on Sunday, November 24, to discover the treasures that have been hiding in the Guild’s storage unit, back stairs, and members’ homes.
This new event is a fundraiser intended to share items donated to the Guild with our members and the public. Thanks to the generosity of our members, we’ve accumulated a sizable pile of destashed yarn, fiber, books, magazines, and small looms—and at least a couple of larger looms—that we can now pass on to you at discounted prices. The first two hours (11 a.m. -1 p.m. ) will be members-only to give all of you a head start on the treasures.
We are accepting donations on Friday, November 22, and Saturday, November 23. We’re accepting equipment, tools, yarn, fiber, books, magazines, fabric, and more! Please reach out to Emily Hitchner at equipmentdonations@pghw.org or (215) 259-8576 if you have donations that need to be dropped off before those dates or that require assistance in moving.
