This class is designed for “new” weavers looking to advance, reinforce or learn new skills. If you’ve taken one of our beginning classes, this is the class for you!
You will be led by PGHW’s Master Weaver Nancy Shiffrin on how to design your own floor loom project by
helping you choose a draft, choose colors and yarns, and help you decide what you want to make. Then she will guide you on a 4 or 8 shaft loom as you wind your warp and warp your loom. You can use the limited yarn selection at the guild, or supply your own yarns.
This class is 6 weeks long, allowing students to ask questions, learn new techniques and get help with all the complexities of floor loom weaving.
