Reminder: April 1 demo opportunity at Colonial Pennsylvania Plantation
Hi everyone, the Colonial Pennsylvania Plantation in Ridley Creek State Park is looking for a few more volunteers to demonstrate at their annual sheep shearing on Saturday, April 1.
If you’re in the area, it should be a fun event.
As a reminder:
It’s a period-centric event, and they’d prefer spinners use only natural fibers. Period-appropriate clothing is welcome, but not required.
Volunteers should be on site at 10 or 10:30 to set up. You can drive in to the event to unload, but will need park in the public lot. They have a limited number of chairs and tables available.
