    Hello! I am fairly new but fastly learning! And I am trying to learn/gain practice carding, and I was wondering if someone could suggest brands for carding combs that would be good for me to try? I don’t want to buy a cheaper version if it will be ineffective, but I also don’t want to spend a lot of money on something fancy that I don’t know how to use. Also not sure if I should invest in small or larger ones. Can you help me please! Thank ewe!

    Ashford has good careers as well as the other popular brands. Keep in mind that depending on your fiber, you may need a different TPI. For instance I raise Angora rabbits and need 190 TPI to process fine fibers but if it is typical wool breeds the standard carders work great.
