Volunteers needed for the W.B. Saul Country Day Fair Saturday, May 4, 2024 at 7100 Henry Avenue. Saul is an agriculture school and there will be farm animals, a plant sale, food and all sorts of educational activities. That’s where we come in. We need volunteers to demonstrate spinning, carding and weaving (rigid heddle and/or tablet/inkle looms). The fair runs from 10am-3pm so we can do two shifts of three or more people beginning with set up at 9am/9:30; the shifts are 9:30-12:30 & 12:30-3:30. Please let me know which shift you can work —of course you are welcome to do the entire day too. Also email me the equipment you plan to bring and if you need help accessing fiber or equipment from the guild for this event. Email Carla Carpenter at carpenc@mac.com or text 215-692-3915 . Please send your full name, phone number, demo plans, equipment need if any and phone number. Thank you!

    Thanks

    Carla Carpenter

We realize this is the weekend of Maryland Sheep and Wool so if you aren’t going on Saturday, this is a great opportunity to spin with friends! Please email outreach@pghw.org if you can help!
